The Maesa Group is becoming increasingly multi-dimentional.
The 12 year-old beauty firm celebrated its merger with Zorbit Resources at the Hudson Terrace in New York City on May 13 with partners, clients and friends.
The Maesa Group is a worldwide designer and manufacturer of tailor-made perfumes, cosmetics, promotional products and packaging, said founder and CEO, Gregory Mager, with seven offices and roughly 250 staff members worldwide.
“From design to development to tweaking products, we customize everything we do,” added Maesa president Julien Saada. “It’s beauty on demand.”
The company currently operates four divisions: Maesa Beauty, Maesa Home (helmed by CEO Jill Belasco following the acquisition of Latitudes International in October 2008), Maesa Promotions and now Maesa Packaging.
Tom Butkiewicz, founder of Zorbit Resources, will assume the titles of CEO of Maesa Packaging and CEO of Maesa Beauty, U.S.
“Five years ago, we built a brand with a spirit and personality that was contagious,” Mr. Butkiewicz said in an emotional toast at the event.
He thanked the entire Zorbit family, especially Scott Kestenbaum, vice president of marketing, whom he described as “the smartest, most entertaining and diligent person I know.”
