On February 13, Takasago perfumer Francis Kurkdjian was awarded the decoration of chevalier (knight) in the French Order of Arts and Letters. He was presented with the honor by Christine Albanel, the French minister of culture, for his contributions to the arts world and enrichment of French culture.
