Cosmetic industry veterans Sylvie Ganter and William Reith have founded Atelier Cologne North America—a firm that will market, manage and distribute luxury brands in the specialty store sector. Ms. Ganter, the former president of Selective Beauty Corporation, will serve as CEO while Mr. Reith, a former executive at Hermès and Fresh, will act as president.
The company’s fragrance brand portfolio includes Van Cleef & Arpels Parfums, Strange Invisible Perfumes and Balmain. Its skincare brands include Alford & Hoff and Pure Altitude.
Atelier will also distribute the eponymous Atelier Cologne brand, which is currently under development.
