International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) has appointed Dr. Ahmet Baydar its new vice president of global fragrance research, as of February 1. After holding similar positions at Procter & Gamble and Gillette, Dr. Baydar will supervise the research efforts of IFF’s fragrance synthesis, perfumery, and innovation technology groups.
“[Dr. Baydar] has a natural talent for building long-term strategic alliances, which will serve him well in his new position,” stated Nicolas Mirzayantz, IFF’s group president of fragrances. “In addition, his extensive global R&D, personal care and fragrance experience will help our customers to grow their brands.”
